SURGICAL PROCEDURES

The face is one of our most important possessions. It is what distinguishes us from one another and is also where we convey our emotions. The reasons patient seek to undergo facial plastic surgery are many ranging from birth defects to trauma or simply wanting to correct an aspect they are unhappy with.

Whatever the reason, the decision to undergo facial plastic surgery is a very personal and important one, requiring mutual understanding and rapport between patient and surgeon. Your face deserves the skills of a highly trained, specialised, skilled and creative surgeon.

Dr Imani specialises in performing cosmetic and reconstructive surgery on the face, head and neck region only, he has limited his practice with his expertise of facial plastic surgery and does not perform any body plastic surgical procedures. 

In order to make an appointment for a consultation with Dr Imani you will need the following:

1. A referral from your General Practitioner or a GP of your choice, another specialist medical practitioner; in person appointment is preferred however if you prefer a Telehealth video consult is acceptable for the purposes of obtaining a GP referral.

2. A second consult with Dr Imani prior to deciding on surgery (this can be via a Telehealth video call) 

3. Fill out questionnaires to ascertain the need for further referral to a GP, psychologist or psychiatrist.

Any surgical and non invasive procedures carry risks. The decision to undergo surgery or to have non surgical procedures and should not be taken lightly.  Individual recovery and outcomes vary amongst patients depending on their genetics, diet and anatomy, and physiology.  Results shown are may not be applicable to your individual circumstances.  Your results may vary from typical results.
